POSITION PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE

Frigo James Legal is a boutique law firm located in Robina on the Gold Coast with a focus on Civil/Commercial Litigation. It has an outstanding reputation servicing quality clients and high-net worth individuals and businesses.

ABOUT YOU

• At least 4 years PAE in a Civil/Commercial Litigation focused role.
• Strong technical skills.
• An excellent communicator.
• A desire to continue learning and developing professionally and personally.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS

• Case planning, development, and management.
• Legal research, fact gathering, investigation and information retrieval.
• Drafting pleadings, document responses and discoveries of documents.
• Document management.
• Contacting and conferencing with clients.
• Analysing and summarising documents.
• Fact checking.
• Preparing for and appearing in court/s or tribunals.
• General and court document preparation (including the use of precedents) and amendments.
• Good skillset in document management software.
• Monitoring emails / bring up systems.
• General administrative tasks including filing, photocopying and searches.
• Preparation and collation of briefs to barristers as and when required.
• Conferencing with barristers and instructing barristers in court.
• Managing confidential information.
• Court filing in person at courthouses and electronically as and when directed.
• Effecting service of court documents.

REMUNERATION 

The position offers an attractive salary of $120,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, along with the opportunity to participate in a performance-based bonus structure.
